Erika Nunes é paraense, nasceu e cresceu em Belém. Arquiteta e apaixonada pelo fazer criativo, encontrou na cerâmica um campo de experimentação de idéias e da matéria.
Suas peças são reflexo de um olhar sempre curioso por referências visuais, produzidas em escala de ateliê, respeitando o processo de tempo, estudo, tentativa e erro que é a cerâmica.
Vasos, formas escultóricas, pequenas obras que dissolvem as fronteiras entre o design e a arte... cada peça feita à mão possui expressão e identidade única. Nunca exatamente iguais.

Erika Nunes was born and raised in Belém do Pará, gateway to the Amazon Rainforest. She graduated in Architecture, studied Product Design in Lisbon and Design Thinking in Beijing. Now based in Rio de Janeiro.
Passionate about creative work, painting and drawing have been with her since a very early age, but it was in ceramics that she found a new path. Her pieces are a reflection of an ever-curious eye for visual references, produced on a studio scale, respecting the process of time, study, trial and error that the ceramic's adventure is.
Vases, sculptural forms, elements on the threshold between the utilitarian and the decorative... each piece, being handmade, has a unique expression and identity. Never exactly the same.
